Brighton Graffiti

Just below Brighton Station there’s some developments going up. The council decided to allow artists to use the temporary walls as canvasses for young graffiti artists in the city. The results are extraordinary and well worth a visit if you get a moment. I used to live 50 yards from where this development is happening and its good to see the brown field site being used for something other than car lots – although I hope it doesn’t get too built up around there.

Hi. Thanks for leaving a comment on my site. This is the first fellow blogger I have found in Brighton.

I have a real thing for graffiti and I had no idea they had done this so I will definately check it out next time I am in town.

Hi! Yeah, its pretty impressive as it runs well over 100 meters long. Come check it out!

  • I went to uni in Brighton and remember that subway well! It didn’t look like that when I was there (1999 to 2002).

    I really miss the place!

Hi! Thanks for visiting. Its not that subway though, this is all out in the open in between London Road and Brighton Station. I’ll post some links if I see any.

The subway under the A27 (for illegally blonde), was always quite horrible IMHO! Salvaged by the friendly Big Issue seller at the end…
