Congratulations Italy! Commiserations Me

Gah! £100 slipped through my fingers just like the Italian penalty kicks through Bartez’s. I came close a couple of times to making some money this tournament. I had Luca Toni to be the top scorer but he just wasn’t on fire, even if his team did just win the World Cup. The £8 on France to win at 12-1 was a close one too. Notice how I didn’t put any money on Brazil or Argentina to win, not that it helped.

So congratulazioni to Italy! Winners of the 2006 World Cup!
