Gavin, the only reason you think that deforestation and industrialisation are not responsible for global warming is because of some book by Science Fiction writer Micheal (Exxon) Crichton. More credible scientists will be able to tell you that global warming is man made.

Unfortunately, the oil companies, who are making $20 Billion a year each, can buy all the pro CO2 messages in the media they want. And with that kind of money you can buy all the personal protection from global warming you want.

It's classic short-termism buck making. Which unfortunately I still believe to be a tenet of Conservative thinking.

It's a lot more honest than our politicians... The evidence is shaky at best and there's no reason to assume that any warming that is occuring is the cause of humanity. Really.

Check it out.

Sounds like a campaign ad. At this point I'm sick to death of them.....Only a week more to go, and the election is over and no more ads....well, not at least until the presidential election in '08.
