Completely irrelevant here, but you commented on Warren Ellis' blog and I thought I should rectify some details; Nobody 'let' Israel develope Nuclear weapons, we did it all by ourselves (granted, with a bit of initial help from the French and Brits), and it was in the bleeding 50's. That was a different world, mind, you, and it's not like we've used them in the past 50 or so odd years. While Iranian officials have just recently stated that Iran will wipe Israel off the map the first chance it gets. So let's just put things in proportion here, despite all our fuckups (and it's not like the US and UK are any less fucked up right now), we're still a liberal democracy, while, say, Iran, is firmly NOT.
